Our HistoryKapsaos Toretmoi coffee growers Co-operative Society ltd was registered in
1981 with CS/NO. 3422. The society’s area of operation covers Kaptumo
division farmers and persons who undertake legitimate economic activities
within Nandi sub county. The society has a membership of 2,104 of where
1,858 members are active. The society is located at Toretmoi sub location
Kapsaos location Aldai, Sub County and Nandi County. The society has two
wetmills Kapsaos Toretmoi and Kaborogin factory. The main crop starts from
August-December and fly crop start from March to July of every year. The
financial year of the society runs from October to September of every year. The
society is led by a team 9 committee members elected from farmers to serve a
term of 3 years on rotation bases, a team of 3 supervisory committee members
and a team of staff.
